Delete your Abika account

You can permanently delete your account and associated data either inside the Abika app or by sending us a request.

Delete it in the app

  1. 1Open Abika and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Profile.
  3. 3Scroll to Danger zone.
  4. 4Tap Delete account and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your Abika account. Include “Delete my Abika account” in the subject. Never send us your password.

What happens next

  • Your account, stored voice recordings, stories and generated narration files are deleted.
  • Email requests are verified and completed within a reasonable period. We may ask you to confirm control of the account email address.
  • A salted one-way hash derived from your email may be kept for up to 12 months to prevent repeated use of the free allowance.
  • A limited consent record may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal and compliance purposes. It does not contain the voice recording itself.
