Voice Policy

You may only record or upload a voice if it is your own voice, or you have the explicit, informed permission of the person whose voice it is. If the voice belongs to a child, you must be that child’s parent or legal guardian.

You confirm this each time you add a voice. You are responsible for keeping any permission you rely on and providing proof if we ask.

You must not use Abika to: impersonate another person without their consent; clone the voice of a public figure or any person without permission; create deceptive, defamatory, harassing or sexual content; commit fraud or deceive others (including "deepfake" audio); or break any law.

Voices you provide are stored securely and sent to our speech-processing systems to generate narrations for you. We process voice data only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can delete any voice at any time from your account. Deleting a voice removes it from active use; we then delete the underlying recording within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with the law.

If you believe a voice has been used without consent or in breach of this Policy, contact us at support@abika.org. We will review reports and may remove content and suspend accounts.

We may remove voices or content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this Policy or the law.
